Subscription Rates for Year to 31 August 2011

Payment options for new members are now only annual or monthly. Quarterly and half-yearly payment options continue for existing members. The EIS Annual Subscription discount decreases as the payment frequency increases.

Subscription Types

Full Subscription
A member employed for more than 50% of the normal working week.

Half Subscription
A) a member employed for 50% or less of the normal working week.
B) a supply or occasional teacher who may be called upon at any time and at short notice to teach for periods, the duration of which is unknown or uncertain

Sick Leave
Members on long term sick leave continue to pay subscription while in receipt of salary. When half-pay ceases Membership department must be advised to ensure that no further subscriptions are deducted.

Maternity Leave
Members on maternity leave continue to pay subscription while in receipt of salary. No subscription is payable while in receipt of Statutory Maternity Pay only or while on unpaid maternity leave. Members should contact Membership department to ensure subscription is not deducted in error.
